Job purpose and key responsibilities
We are looking for a permanent, full-time Broadband Sales Assistant. You will be responsible for assisting in the generation of Broadband sales and developing relationships with new clients, making sales visits and presentations, maintaining advanced knowledge of products and services, and meeting established sales goals, tasks include: Assist with activities designed to seek new clients who might benefit from company broadband products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions.
Assess client IT needs for broadband services and make recommendations, including IT equipment and ISP service packages.
Assist with preparation of sales and marketing activities to pitch product, service, and broadband product/package benefits packages to clients.
Contribute to team-based creation of marketing literature and web-based features to promote broadband products and time-sensitive sales.
Negotiate broadband sales, approved package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients.
Work towards established broadband sales goals.
Answer questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing broadband products or services.
Assist with orders placed as a result of broadband sales enquiries.
Assist with checking accuracy of monthly supplier billing, quarterly reviews and reporting and resolving disputes (broadband).
Become fluent in all broadband products and services offered by the employer through training, demonstrations, and research.
Gain familiarity with relevant new broadband technology, and stay updated on trends and innovative products.
Any other duties as directed by line manager and/or Technical Sales Co-Ordinator
Some previous sales role experience;
Strong MS Office skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Marketing/sales related qualification (desirable not essential);
Full, clean driving licence;
Good level of relevant technical skills;
